I have been trying (unsuccessfully I might add) to teach my kids geography. Until now I thought it had to be done with boring workbooks or textbooks. How WONDERFUL A Child's Geography looks. Simple, well laid out, engaging and most of all EASY for a busy mom to follow!

After downloading the samples, I KNOW I will buy a copy if I do not win one!

To sum it up in one word--WOW!

Thanks for the chance to try & win a copy.

This looks like such an amazing Geography book!!! I love that it is tailored to the Charlotte Mason format. I am even more impressed by the Christian outlook.

I have been a fan of Jeannie Fulbright for a long, long time and have many of her books. She is a really neat woman, so I like the Geography book even more, since she thinks so highly of it!!

We have been searching for a great geography book to go along with our unit studies on various countries. This looks wonderful.

Thank you very much for the chance to be in the running to win a copy. Y'all are great!!

this is fantastic! I love the postcards idea, and I was thinking, if you found a couple of kids who were also using it from around the world (homeschooling really is a global community) that your kids could send copies of their postcards to... that'd be fun too! I like that it glorifies God... we always need more curriculum that brings Him to the front our children's minds when they look at the world around us, whether in science, history or geography. EXCELLENT!

This way of studying Geography looks absolutely wonderful. To me, Geography tended to be one tedious lesson after another. I don't want my kids to feel that way about Geography. It has really only been recently that I discovered the excitement and wonder of Geography. I would love to win this and want to thank you for providing it as a giveaway. Three lucky people will be greatly blessed by your generosity!

I liked the first three chapters that we downloaded. First of all, they are written from a Christian librarian's perspective, which I think is a real big advantage. Whenever I mention the word 'geography,' my children moan. My attempts to expose them to the subject have not been successful in rousing their interests. This is not like the dry, dull text books we've used before. Nor is it like the 'fluffy' books we've gotten from the library. It is substantial. I believe we would all enjoy using this curriculum.

Hello!
I actually own ACG and LOVE, LOVE it... the electronic version. I would LOVE to win the printed version as I plan to continue using it with all my kids and may even use it again when my oldest get older!!

Ann did a super job of making this God-glorifying and yet super down-to-earth for the kids to understand. The hands on projects make abstract ideas come to life. I can't say enough positive about it.

I've read through the first 3 chapters and just love it! It reads a lot like Jeannie Fulbright's science books, which my children beg to listen to. I love the Charlotte Mason approach used in the book, with the narrative style, the opportunity for narrations, and the outdoor excursions. And the Christian worldview is the icing on the cake!

This looks like a perfect fit for our AO curiculum. I love how it incoporates some of CM's methods right in the text. Looking forward to seeing more vols in the future. Would enjoy winning this as we are new to homeschooling and as a military family need to find things as economical as possible.

A Child's Geography Vol. 1: After previewing Chapter 1, I knew this would be an excellent resource. Done in the same classical method and format as some of the Well Trained Mind books, moms will be able to pick this up and run with it! The definite Christian worldview built into the activities and stories will set moms at ease with the material as they teach. What a treasure. The only regret is that I didn't know about this curriculum jewel sooner!

How fun this book looks! I greatly enjoyed sharing Apologia's Astronomy books with my three youngest boys this past year, and with their childhoods slipping so quickly away, I'd love to use this geography program together next year. They won't be "little" enough to learn about God's world together much longer!

My wife and I were blessed and encouraged by two of your workshops at the Christian Heritage conference a few weeks ago. Thank you for all you do! We are new to homeschooling and out of our 4 kids (with another on the way) we currently have a kindergartner and a 4th grader.

While I don't feel as qualified as the others here to review the book, I thought that the format was very appealing. The writing was captivating, and while I only planned to skim for a shot at receiving the book for free, I found myself unable to stop reading until I had finished reading all three segments! (Who new what the thermospere and ionosphere did?...amazing!) The experiments look very fun and relevant as well. I think this will be an easy addition to our growing list of picks for next year.

I won V II of a Child's Geo Explore the Holy land from TOS mag a few issues ago. I love it! My husband was hoping to get a job in Israel and I was so excited to learn with the kids about this country! I know this new giveaway volume will not disappoint us! you can contact me via my blog first (then auxiliary em natamama7@gmail.com)
