Hi Terri,

Thank you for the opportunity to be entered into the drawing for the Homeschooling ABC's class.

I have been homeschooling my children, ages 13, 10, 6, 5 and 2 for many years now (since the beginning) and now I find myself in a dry season and could use some refreshing. I have looked at the course many times, but it is out of our budget range.

Again, thank you for the opportunity to enter the drawing.

Hi,Terri! Thank you for the sample from your ABC course. The course looks great, but it isn't in our budget right now. We have a lot of your products and they are all top notch! I know your ABC course is top notch, too! Blessings, Kym

Thanks for the chance to win your Homeschooling ABCs course. My children currently attend public school, but I would like to begin homeschooling them. This course looks like it would be the perfect place to start.

Hi Terri,
Thanks for the opportunity! We are home educating in New Zealand and really value the access to resources like these which the internet gives us. It's not that we're a backward country or anything but the population base is a bit smaller and even more so in the home schooling community. The internet makes a big difference for me.
Keep up the good work! I loved all the links and ideas in your sampler.

Hi Terri,

I have had my eye on this course for a while now. I currently homeschool our girls who are in first and second grade.

We use a curriculum that is all in one. I would love to take this course to have the knowledge of what to do if I choose a style of teaching or curriculum that isn't so intensive. I don't feel equipped to pull one together from several sources right now and we are getting burnt out!

Blessings,
Denise

Thanks for the opportunity to have a membership to your Homeschooling ABC's class. It looks like a wonderful class, even if you have been homeschooling for awhile. I am always looking for new and refreshing ways to homeschooling. I have enjoyed listening to your seminars in the past on talk-a latte. Thank you for all you do.

I've been following the announcement of this course with interest. This looks like a great resource for either new starters or those who have been homeschooling awhile.I spend a lot of evenings looking for different ways to do things, or different sites to reinforce a lesson. I, too, enjoyed the resources in your sample lesson. Thank you for the opportunity to be entered in your drawing. It will be great help to whomever wins it! Kathi

Terri...it's obvious you have done a great deal of research and writing from the heart in putting together this training!

I previewed the M for Math portion and was pleasantly impressed! The Math-U-See methods are very helpful, and are the best you can find out there! I appreciate the multiple links to various resources. It is all presented in such a thoughtful, useful manner!

Just an aside about the Math-U-See (addition) methodology: I was a classroom elementary teacher, and have also been homeschooling my children for 9 years. My "poor guinea pig" (my eldest child) endured several math curricula before I finally discovered Math-U-See. She really struggled all along until I started using it, but my other kids, who have used MUS from their earliest years, have not.

Anyway, I was very happy to see some of the MUS-type explanations in the M for Math selection.

Now, please don't misunderstand me...Terri has NOT "borrowed" the MUS curriculum here...she has merely phrased the all-important adding explanation in a way similar to MUS. And she does NOT dominate the M for Math portion with MUS explanations...she has an excellent variety of tools and tips that she KNOWS will help both new and experienced homeschoolers, based on her OWN experience and research!

I hope I can win the free scholarship to this training, as it looks VERY beneficial!

I enjoyed your mini-course, offered through Homeschool Freebies, and though we've been at it for several years, I still gleaned helpful information! Thanks so much for making this available.

This sounds wonderful and have looked at it several times. I could use some renewal for myself and my children. There is so much out there but knowing how to put it all together can be a big challenge. Thanks for all the work you put into the homeschool community and all the things you are willing to share with us.

The Math Sample was just what I needed for my unenthusiastic towards math(to put it nicely) eight year old! When I read the homepage I instantly sent it to a friend who is struggling over the decision of bringing her children out of private school because she just doesn't think she is capable of homeschooling. This product seems like just the kind of support that she would need, not to mention I'm a newbie myself in desperate need of direction and organization.

While I have homeschooled for 7 years, the sample lessons were very informative and helpful. I can see what a great benefit this would be to have Terri hold your hand as you begin this amazing journey or keep on keeping on in my case. There are always new things to learn. Thanks for the opportunity to join free. I was amazed at all of the freebies too.

Hi Teri,

Thanks for the sample lesson on Math! I have been wondering HOW to help my daughter improve her mental math and your sample lesson looked really PROMISING!!! I'm encouraged! Math is not my favorite subject and I don't feel confident about teaching it so I can use all the help I can get!

I just really love what I'm seeing with your Homeschooling ABC's class; I'm a reviewer for The Old Schoolhouse magazine, and this ABC course is really great!

I have a friend who has just started out homeschooling her son, and she has SO many questions! I answer as many of them as I can, but she could really use your ABC's course. I'd buy it for her (her husband's business has dropped off to almost zero in the last six months), but my husband just took a huge paycut today, so I won't be able to purchase the class for my friend.

Anyway, if I could win a copy to give to her, it would be such a blessing! Thank you for giving us an opportunity to win this!

Wow, I downloaded the sample, and I was so encouraged by what I've seen so far! We've had a tough year with our homeschool -- my father-in-law came to live with us due to age/health, and my husband lost his job (through no fault of his own...the company for which he worked shut down). Anyway, I share that only to illustrate how refreshing it was to see such inspiring ideas and information. It was nice to see something uplifting! :) Thanks so much for sharing such great materials and information.

On behalf of Donna:

I have tried your 5 day mini class and found the information very helpful and practical. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about purchasing an on-line "class", but since receiving the "Math is Fun" eBook, I would recommend it to anyone. I still haven't purchased a membership yet, as I don't have a visa, but noticed that you have a contest (draw) going on right now,.....and I'd love to be a part of that.

I know contest rules, said to join the free sample class, but I've already done that and didn't want to take up more of your time sending that out again, so here I am "Blogging"...

Hope this reaches you in time!

Thanks for all your work that you do and all the fun and amazing things you put together for all of Us!

Bless you and your family
Donna

Hello Terri,

I looked all over the blog site you pointed to, and did not see a place to leaave a comment to enter the contest.

Your class sounds verys interesting. What I need most right now in this homeschooling journey is to find out how to include my 4 year old while teaching my 7 year old. I cannot imagine teaching both of them together yet.

Please enter me in the drawing for the giveaway.

Thanks and God Bless,

Thanks for the generous offer. I've always found that when you're teaching kids to add 9s and 8s by moving one or two over, a 10 frame (grid with two rows of five) and some counters really help give them a solid image of the concept.
Hoping to win,
Catherine

I'd like to enter for a chance to win! I have been homeschooling for several years now, but mostly with an "I'll do it my way" philosophy. I think it is time for me to take a look at some basics to make sure I am not missing something (it sure wouldn't surprise me)

Not sure this could have come at a more perfect time. Recently I've been debating starting my just-turned 5 year old son in public school. I've been up and down over the matter for awhile.
One thought about this study I signed up for, is that it discusses the importance of why I want to homeschool. I have three children, five and under. I feel pretty scared and appreciated how the email mentions the importance of solidifying the reasons I want to homeschool. So that, when these times of doubt come, I will "know why I believe" and stand firm.
Looking forward to the next few emails.

We have been homeschooling for a while. I have a couple in college, but kind of need a boost with the ones still at home. I was sick last year and it put us behind and really feel I need to just get back to the basics and take it slowly to get us back in the groove!

Blessings and thanks!
